- In order to encourage information and studies exchange among the institutions affiliated to the Conference and other social security linked organizations, CIESS has designed a format, that among other things will enable the following programs:
- Exchange of printed or electronic publications
- Information support for institutions that integrate in their curricula and research social security, health and related issues.
- Spread American social security and health progress.
Guidelines for information liaisons
Goals
To make up a data bank specialized in social security, health, and related issues, which sources will be research and studies performed by CISS affiliated institutions, universities, research centers, and higher education institutions, public and private institutions, and international organizations.
To integrate, safeguard, and spread the collection by means of liaisons that collaborate consistently in sending documents and publications produced by the institutions involved.
The liaisons are basically in charge of:
Gathering documents and publications produced in the corresponding areas and sending them periodically to CIESS.
Characteristics
All documents should be finished and complete, that is to say, no in-process documents will be taken into consideration.
Materials sent to CIESS should be submitted together with their corresponding list.
The specialized library should be directly in touch with each liaison representative. The bibliographic and periodicals and newspapers library material sent by the collaborating institutions will be part of the on-line catalog in CIESS webpage: www.ciss.org.mx/ciess
Documents needed to enrich the library collection: regulatory or legal, planning, development, information and administration, academia development, technical documents, periodical publications, institutional publications, information systems, as well as collections or serial publications.
