Full Members

A Full Member of CISS is the organization accredited by each country in America as the representative of Social Security in that particular country.

Requirements to become a full member of CISS:

  1. Submitting a written admission application to the President of CISS.
  2. Accrediting its function as the representative for Social Security in its country.
  3. Formal and unconditional acceptance of the Bylaw and Regulations of CISS.

Associate Members

The Associate Members of CISS are those non-profit organizations established by national law that supervise one or more branches of Social Security and are compulsory for the sector of the population they protect.

Requirements to become an associate member of CISS:

  1. Submitting a written admission application to the President of CISS.
  2. Establishing that the institution administers one or more branches in Social Security, that it was created by national law, that it is compulsory for the population it protects and that it is a non-profit organization.
  3. Formal and unconditional acceptance of the Bylaw and Regulations of CISS.

Affiliation Form

Adherent Members

The adherent members of the CISS are the government or private bodies or institutions of the Americas that manage one or several social security branches, and have been created or acknowledged under the respective State national law.

Requirements to become an adherent member of CISS:

  1. Submit a written application for admission to the CISS President.
  2. Prove that the institution manage one or several social security branches, and have been created or acknowledged under the respective State national law.
  3. Accept the CISS Bylaws and Regulations formally and unconditionally.

Affiliation Form

Related Members

The related members of CISS are organizations, confederations and other entities in the Americas engaged in studying and/or researching social security and approved by the full member from the State where they operate.

Requirements to become a related member of CISS:

  1. Submit a written application for admission to the CISS President.
  2. Prove that the institution engaged in studying and/or researching social security and approved by the full member from the State where they operate.
  3. Accept the CISS Bylaws and Regulations formally and unconditionally.
