General Assembly
The General Assembly shall have the following responsabilities:
  1. Establish the policies and rules to fulfill the CISS purposes.
  2. Issue statements and recommendations on social security.
  3. Approve the CISS bodies' annual programs and plans of action.
  4. Approve the CISS annual budget, balance and income statement.
  5. Electing the President, the three Vice-Presidents, the Secretary General, the Comptroller and the Director of the CIESS every three years, according to the procedure included in the corresponding Regulation. The election will make it possible, for the members with the right to vote, to utilize mechanisms for voting without being present, as provided in the Regulation.
  6. Decide upon members' admission and withdrawal/suspension applications.
  7. Create, modify or suppress CASS, Sub-regions, Special Commissions and Work Groups as it sees fit.
  8. Approve the place and date of its own meetings.
  9. Establish and review the CISS member fees.
  10. Approve and amend, either in whole or in part, the CISS Bylaws and regulations of its bodies.
